I. Love. Supernatural.

It's my latest obsession. Oh yes. Ohhhhh yes indeedy. In fact, over Spring Break I bought both Season 1 and Season 2, watched ALL of 'em, and then watched all of what's happened in Season 3 so far, and I can say with complete honesty that it is possibly one of my favorite TV shows ever. It's the perfect blend of comedy, horror, and angst-filled drama. Fantastic writing, and a very beautiful look at the relationship between two brothers. Thus, I love it. Even though it often scares the bajeebies out of me.

Yes, I did just say bajeebies. You'll be fine, I promise.

Aaaanyhoo, expect lots of Sam and Dean (mmm...Dean), and other random bits inspired by the show.

Anyhoo, I found this meme/survey thing I did a while back about one of my characters and thought I'd put it here for future reference.


Incubus

In his mid twenties, I’d assume. 24, 25.

Appearance:
1)If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
Hmmm…quite a few. He’s rather beautiful for a guy, and has silvery hair and only one visible eye, and he doesn’t exactly dress like anyone you’d normally see walking down the street. So yes, many stares.
2)Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Not exactly. He’s one of the strongest demons in existence (not that he’s aware of that). Not really your run-of-the-mill guy. And he’s Daemonwulf’s right-hand man, which gives him advanced status and power. Appearance-wise…normal for a demon, but that’s not saying much.
3)What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
The black bandana tied around his right eye. He’s blind in that eye. The other is a fierce, sharp ice blue.
4)Would you consider your OC as attractive?
Yup. That’s why one of the main characters falls for him.

Personality:
1)Temper?
He’s usually pretty collected. When he gets mad, he channels it and concentrates it to make him stronger, instead of freaking out and yelling, or something. It would take a lot to really piss him off.
2)Does your character ever get depressed?
Yes. Often. But he has ample reason to. He doesn’t show it if he can help it. He likes to be in control. [That is a very important aspect of his character, by the way.]
3)Leader or Follower?
I guess both. He is a follower to Daemonwulf, only because he has to be, and because he knows it will be to his best interests in the long run. He is also definitely a leader when it comes to everyone else he’s around.
4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Indecision. Most of the characters in the story are rather black and white, but not Incubus. He is very clearly gray. His character is based on his inner turmoil involving his loyalties, Rage, good and evil, and lots of other fun things like that.

History:
1)Does your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
His mother died giving birth to him. His father later grew very ill and died when he was about eighteen. That was the only family he had.
2)Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Well…he lives at the demon HQ, so he is not literally out on his own, but emotionally he has always been a loner and keeps that persona up until he meets Rage.
3)Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
I’m sure he’s encountered many, being in his line of work. He has also come close to death a number of times while out on special missions from Daemonwulf. You can’t really associate with Daemonwulf and not encounter traumatizing things.
4)What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
Easy; when he first met Rage. She was kinda like the Juliet to his Romeo, you could say. She gave him hope when nothing else in the world made sense. Even now that she’s with Teufel and he’s alone, memories of her get him through the hard times.

2)Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
Yep

He’d kill me if I told you. But just because it’s fun to watch him squirm: no.
4)Does your character like flirting?
Uhhh, he’s never really had a reason to up until now, so I guess so, but he’s more of a straight out, no holds barred, seduction kind of guy. If he’s attracted to you, you know it. He doesn’t unleash that charm very often, though. Even less lately.

Symbolism:
1) What animal would you associate your OC with?
Some kind of big cat…a panther, or something. He moves like one.

Violin.

Yep. In fact, writing this is giving me a serious craving to draw him right now.

Yes, he is a character in Teufel’s story.
3)Do you use him/her in any rpgs?
I don’t really roleplay much anymore.
4)What other ways have you appreciated your OC?
Well…er…I’m pretty much madly in love with him. Does that count?

RANDOMIZE!
1)Is your character wanted for anything?
Oh, I’m sure.
2)What are three weaknesses in him/her?
Three? Er…Rage, his indecision, and he can sometimes be a wee bit overconfident.
3)Strengths?
Everything else, basically. He’s one powerful dude. He is extremely smart, fast, agile, skilled in many forms of martial arts, etc. He also packs a pretty nice arsenal and knows how to use it. Not to mention he really is very emotionally strong and mature. He has what you might call an old soul. He’s still quite young, but he has wisdom beyond his years. [Fun note: One of the paradoxes I play with a lot in the story is the fact that Teufel, who is over six centuries old, actually has much less wisdom and composure than Incubus who is only 24-25. Funny how Teufel acts the age that Incubus is and Incubus acts the age Teufel is. I think that’s why Incubus irritates Teufel, and vice-versa.]
4)Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
No. Remember the whole, “he has to be in control” thing? Yeah.
5)What's one quirk about him/her?
He doesn’t like things on his arms. I mean, he very rarely wears sleeves. If he has a shirt on with sleeves, he rolls them up. He’d much rather just be in a wife beater or something at all times. I don’t really know why. Sometimes he’ll consent to wearing gauntlets or wrist accessories if they are practical and serve a purpose.
6)Does your character have any phobias?
See above. He also fears death quite a bit, and he fears losing, although he doesn’t show it.
7)What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
Probably really hurt/kill Rage. That’s really the only thing you could do that would get him that worked up.
8)Does your OC like chickens?
I don’t think Incubus has ever seen a chicken.

The Final Question:
What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
Incubus is like a puzzle to me. Every time I think I’ve got him figured out, his character just evolves a little bit more and I am left to re-evaluate him all over again. He changes, he improves, but for some reason I have always known how I wanted him to be and I am very comfortable with him. I’m also very intrigued by him, and I love writing his character in the story. I’m excited to see what he becomes as the story progresses. So although he is still a bit of a mystery, I love Incubus.
